Increased cyber risk for Italian public administrations
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has triggered a real cyberwar in Europe. In recent weeks, the Agenzia per la cybersicurezza nazionale and the Computer Security Incident Response Team – Italy have repeatedly pointed out that Italian administrations must also pay particular attention to Cybersecurity, considering the increase in malicious activity.

AGID Explanatory Circular online
The Agenzia per l’Italia Digitale has published a new Circular –28th February 2022, no. 1 – on the Public Administration Cloud. The document provides administrations and their suppliers with some clarifications, indications and informative elements for the univocal application of the rules of the new Regulation on the “PA Cloud” published last December.

Tool for defining and publishing annual accessibility objectives available
The Agenzia per l’Italia Digitale published a tool for defining and publishing the annual accessibility objectives. Starting from this year, the publication of the accessibility objectives can be carried out by the Digital Transition Officer (Responsabile per la transizione digitale, RTD) on the portal https://form.agid.gov.it, in the special section dedicated to “Accessibility Objectives”.
We would like to remind you that the administrations must do so by 31st March.
Digital identity
AGID adopts SPID Guidelines for minors
The Agenzia per l’Italia Digitale has published the Operational Guidelines for issuing digital identities to minors. The Guidelines will allow children – aged 5 and over – to obtain and use SPID to access digital services under parental supervision.

Prevention of corruption and transparency: the Register of the officers has been set up
The Autorità Nazionale Anticorruzione (ANAC) has set up the Register of the Anti-corruption and Transparency Officers (Responsabili della prevenzione della corruzione e della trasparenza, RPCT). The aim of introducing the register is to make the dialogue among Anti-corruption and Transparency Officers in administrations and bodies faster and more effective. The establishment of the Register is also functional to the creation of a national network of the officers.
