Decree for the transfer of competences from AGID to ACN published in the Gazzetta Ufficiale
The President of the Council of Ministers Decree of 1 September 2022 was published in the Gazzetta Ufficiale on 20 October 2022. The decree defines modalities and terms to ensure the transfer of functions, instrumental assets and documentation from the Agenzia per l’Italia Digitale (AGID) and the Department for Digital Transformation to the Agenzia per la Cybersicurezza Nazionale (ACN).
PA Digitale 2026 Open Data online
A page dedicated to Open Data page of PA Digitale 2026 has been published. The aim is to increase the quantity and quality of the information available on the PNRR funds dedicated to digitisation of the Public Administration managed by the Department for Digital Transformation of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
Launch of the National Digital Data Platform
The Piattaforma Digitale Nazionale Dati (PDND) was launched a few weeks ago. This platform enables the exchange of information between organisations and public administrations and promotes the interoperability of public databases and information systems. At the same time, the first PNRR Call for proposals dedicated to the municipalities, worth 110 milion euros, was also published.
Italian DPA: online services require use of secure protocols
In order to avert the risk of identity theft and ensure an adequate protection of personal data, users’ interaction with a website for the purposes of transmitting personal data must be protected with secure protocols (such as ‘https’). Therefore, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali fined a water utility company 15,000 euro for failing to adequately protect customer data registered in the private area of its website.
National Digital School Plan, update kicks off
The start of the update of the National Digital School Plan was announced during the ‘Didacta Sicilia’ event. Interventions to improve the Plan include activities to monitor the system and enhance positive experiences. These actions will affect the everyday life of schools in order not to leave anyone behind.
