The new regulation on cybersecurity in Italy has been published

In Italy, a new and important regulation on cyber security has been published in the Official Gazette of the Italian Republic. The Regulation governs the notifications of IT incidents involving networks, information systems and IT services of public administrations.

In addition, the Council of Ministers approved a Law-Decree by which has been established the “National Agency for cybersecurity”.

Smart working
The Government extends the simplified procedure until December 31, 2021

Law no. 87 of 17 July 2021, of conversion of the Reopening Decree, has been published on the Official Gazette of the Italian Republic. The law provides for the extension of the simplified procedure for smart working in the Public Administration until 31 December 2021.


Anac publishes the new guidelines

The National Anti-Corruption Authority has published the new guidelines on whistleblowing. The guidelines are directed to public administrations which must provide for protective measures for the employee who reports illicit conduct by the employer.


Digitization of cultural heritage
In Italy it has been approved a resolution regarding the free reproduction of cultural assets

The Commission of Culture of the Chamber of Deputies has adopted a resolution for the digitization of cultural heritage. The resolution envisages the possibility of adopting measures for the free reproduction of public cultural assets through the web.



The new website dedicated to the public administration’s cloud is now online

The Department for Digital Transformation has announced the publication of the new website dedicated to the public administration’s cloud. The site was created to accompany administrations towards the adoption of the Cloud model defined by the strategic documents adopted by the Government.
